This Chambray shirt combines elements from our favourite shirts to create what we feel, is the perfect standard shirt. The collar is inspired by a vintage 1940’s ‘Spearpoint’ silhouette and complements the shirt’s classic fit. Regular through the body and finished with a curved hem, the rear box pleat allows the shirt to fit well across the back and reduces bulk. The chest features two flap pockets with finishing details including engraved mother of pearl buttons, a rear laundry tab and ‘X’s’ sewn into the cuff plackets and side hem as a subtle reminder of the shirts’ ‘Made in Scotland’ pedigree.
The Chambray mixed panel shirt is constructed from three different chambray cotton cloths; Navy, Mid-blue and sky blue. All of which are cut from mid-weight 120gsm 100% cotton cloth. The fabric is from a mill which has signed up to the Oeko-Tex standard. This shirt is handmade in Scotland in small batches to maintain a high quality and attention to detail. This shirt is sure to develop a beautiful patina over time and with wear.
