This chore jacket references and takes inspiration from the golden era of american workwear styles with a approach. It's a versatile piece that can be worn as outerwear or layered over a shirt or tee. Featuring two large side entry patch pockets with our pictish horseman patch sitting on the left chest, the jacket has a similar silhouette as our CPO however we have tweaked the details of the cuff opening, and collar in particular. The sleeves also have large rectangular reinforced elbow patches, again referencing traditional workwear. The garment is finished with a full 5-button closure, crafted from natural coloured British-made Corozo buttons, and a straight hem with split side seams.
Handmade in small batches in Scotland to maintain quality, attention to detail and to promote a more sustainable manufacturing process. This Chore jacket is crafted from a beautiful, slightly raised 200gsm Japanese Cotton cloth with a similar look to Hickory denim but with, what we feel, a little more texture and character. The Japanese cloth makes this jacket perfect for use as summerweight outerwear to take off the chill when the sun begins to drop. The Japanese cloth has been especially selected for its ability to get better with time and through wear, picking up patina which will further increase it's character.
