The Dispatcher is a versatile coat which is ultimately a product of Scotland.

The Dispatcher is a long trench-style coat which takes inspiration and partly shares its name with the dispatch riders jackets worn in WW2 by motorcyclists who required something that would keep them protected from the weather on their important missions.
 
Our coat is designed to respectfully nod to those old styles, however, it something completely new. With a contemporary fit, it is also far more breathable and much lighter than those heavy old rubberised sweat factories, and of course more refined with an impeccable level of finish.
 
Our coat benefits from a detachable Harris Tweed vest liner, which, when worn not only provides greater warmth to the coat, but also offers more utility by way of internal storage for the coat itself (which in turn become lower patch pockets when the vest is worn exclusively of the outer shell). The Harris Tweed has been especially selected to compliment the weatherproof shell. This versatile jacket can be worn throughout seasons, by adding layers in the depths of winter, or removing the liner in warmer climes. 
 
It can also be reproofed with our reproofing spray (sold seperately)which will increase the life of the garment and its effectiveness in poor weather conditions without the greasy handle of traditional waxed cotton or the crunchy crisp-packet noises of synthetic waterproof garments.
 
Its versatility is also evident in its ability to be dressed more formally with the solid brass buckled belt, or worn more casually sans-belt and collar popped. Made by hand in our small Aberdeen workshop. The Dispatcher is a culmination of all of our design expertise and the incredible materials we use within our wider collection.
