Our Multi-pocket Pop-Over shirt is a utilitarian hardwearing garment that takes its inspiration from military garb. The shirt features a full placket with a typical spread collar. Regular through the body, the shirt is finished with a curved hem, the rear box pleat allows the shirt to fit well across the back and reduces bulk, while the laundry tab offers a useful point to hang the shirt from. On the front of the shirt a multitude of pockets can be found including a large, side-entry map pocket made from Canvas, with three Corduroy patch pockets with Cotton Twill flap closure, details can be found everywhere on this beautiful garment, from the angled left chest pocket, to the small logo tab which sits neatly at the bottom of corner of another pocket. Large elbow patches made from contrasting canvas create a continuity with the canvas map pocket on the front. Lastly, the shirt is completed with charcoal grey Corozo fisheye buttons, and ‘X’s’ sewn into the cuff plackets and side hem as a subtle reminder of the shirts’ ‘Made in Scotland’ pedigree.
The main body is constructed from a substantial 275gsm, 100% cotton cloth with a 190gsm 16 Wale needlecord used as the material from which the patch pockets are made. The hard-wearing panels are made from 265gsm sanded Canvas. All fabric contained in this piece comes from a mill which has signed up to the Oeko-Tex standard. This shirt is handmade in Scotland in small batches to maintain a high quality and attention to detail.
